Education maintenance allowance (EMA) and adult learning grants  

The education maintenance allowance (EMA) is a weekly payment of up to £30, paid directly to young people who stay on in further education from age 16 to 19. The scheme is available in England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales.

Adult/assembly learning grants are available in England and Wales to help you study if you are over 19.
