Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) public consultation on draft regulations

This DWP consultation sought views on draft regulations governing the proposed use of the consumer prices index by the Financial Assistance Scheme and the Pension Protection Fund. These draft regulations are intended to deliver some of the changes announced by the Government on 8 July 2010, that the consumer prices index (rather than the retail prices index) should be used by the Financial Assistance Scheme and the Pension Protection Fund in relation to the calculation of certain payments.
The closing date for responses was 3 November 2010.
