member's helpline Member Organisations Advice Service

The Disability Rights UK advice service for member organisations is available Monday to Friday.

The service is aimed at helping our members answer complex queries.

The main focus is on tax credits and benefit matters, but the advice service also provides generalist advice covering welfare issues.

Hosting the service is Ken Butler. Ken’s background in the advice sector spans over two decades, mostly in the area of welfare rights. He has substantial casework experience at all levels including tribunal representation.

Our members’ advice service is available on 0207 247 9342 Monday to Friday between 10.00 am to 12.00 noon and 2.00pm to 4.00pm or by emailing kbutler@disabilityalliance.org  at any time.

While we cannot afford to run a telephone advice service for individuals at present we aim to provide information about benefits thorough our publications, factsheets and our website. Our guide to Finding a Local Advice Centre is available at www.disabilityalliance.org/f15.htm.
