Disability Rights UK, formerly Disability Alliance (DA), is providing support and information for disabled students, through DA's agreement with the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills following the closure of Skill: National Bureau for Students with Disabilities.
The information and advice we can give is mainly geared towards disabled students who are studying in England. We can support students who are studying in Wales and Scotland with general information on the Equality Act, welfare benefits and access to Higher Education. We recommend that disabled students who wish to study in Scotland contact Lead Scotland for more specialised information and advice about education and training in Scotland.
